Ever wanted to email someone you know, but haven't yet exchanged email addresses? Starting this week, when you're composing a new email, Gmail will suggest your Google+ connections as recipients, even if you haven't exchanged email addresses yet.
How it works with email addresses
Emailing Google+ connections works a bit differently to protect the privacy of email addresses. Your email address isn't visible to your Google+ connections until you send them an email, and their email addresses are not visible to you until they respond.
Receiving email from people outside your circles
If you receive an email from someone outside your circles, it will be filtered into the Social category of the inbox (if enabled) and only after you respond or add them to your circles, can they start another conversation with you.
How to control who can contact you
You're in control of whether people can reach you with a new setting in Gmail on the desktop. To learn more, check out the Help Center.

WOOP!" for this being the 500th blog post on Savvy Sexy Social. Hell ya. For this Savvy Tuesday, I wanted to help you think about more creative ways you can be growing your network. We're all probably registered to quite a few different email newsletters. Varying from retail to consulting to platform notifications. How else can you take advantage of being on a list other than just receiving its information? Usually when we talk about email marketing on Savvy Sexy Social its to discuss how we can get a larger audience to engage your email list so they can stay up to date on what's happening when your brand and ultimately be met with any sales opportunities that support your business plan. But that's not the only way to use emails to market your brand. As a member of other email lists, you're basically doing a favor for the content creator. They politely asked you to join their list (ideally if you think you would ever do business with them) so you joined and are now a prime target to be sold to. But the relationship doesn't need to stop there. Now that they're allowed to send you a direct email with this list, you should be able to take advantage of that same access as well. Reply to your emails and get to know your thought leaders better, while at the same time having them get to know you. Address a question that was asked in the summary. Voice your opinions (nicely) about the content that was discussed. Just say hi! When you approach them in a way that now you have their undivided attention because of how you're engaging their content marketing strategy, they're going to learn who you are real quick. This is helping you grow your network as not just a fan or subscriber, but now an acquaintance who is now being seen as an engaged member of the community and someone that creator is going to be familiar with if continued to be connected with in the long run possibly meaning they'll be able to help you should the opportunity arise. Start watching your emails for those little calls-to-action that pose an opportunity to reply. If you're familiar with my email list, I always include a little personal note from myself because I want the subscribers to feel like they're getting a special piece of me. Something no one else is getting on my blog, videos, social media, etc. I always have a call-to-action there of how you might feel on the particular subject I talked about. I can gives you many names of people who reply to my email often. (Hi guys!) And they now have a place in my brain of people I remember. People that follow me. People that love my brand. People who are benefiting from my content. They remind me how special it is that I do what I do, therefore they've become acquaintances in my network and I in there's. Lets face it if your writing good stuff but no one is looking at it then what is the point? Thats why I came up with this great video series. that will be broken down into 3 different videos to show you 21 ways how to increase blog traffic. In the first series today we focused on some key things that you have to put in place in order to establish more blog traffic to inlcude: 1. Identify who your audience is going to be that you want to target. This is important because you want to the right people reading your content that will be likely to share what you blog about. 2. Identify where you audience hangs out and where they are most likely to look at your blog. This is very easy because for most your audience is going to be online. 3. Write your blog so it is SEO friendly. Search Engine Optimization is one of the least utilized ways to optimize activity yet over 3 Billion people search Google annually. 4. Use Social Media to get traffic to your blog. Social media is a great way to get traffic to your blog. Most blog sites will have ways for you to connect Facebook, Twitter, Google + and another one that is really growing is Pinterest. These are great places to meet new people who connect with you and your content. 5. Analyze your blog so you know where your traffic is coming from. A real simple way to do this is Google Analytics. This will allow you to track your articles and see where your traffic is coming from. 6. Words are important but images are what attract people to your content. Create good images that attract people to you. Think of images that would get peoples attention. There are lots of great images through Google Images or you can get creative and make your own. 7. Do good KEY WORD RESEARCH! Remember you want to attract the right people to you. In this video called mlm success training it identifies two ways to do inexpensive paid advertising and talks about what is involved with implementing it and the cost involved. The first way that is discussed in this video mlm success training to do cheap advertising is using Facebook and promoting a post. In order to do this you need to do a post or status update on your Facebook profile page not your fan page. Once you have posted it you click on promote and another screen will pop up with payment options. The cost to promote a post is $6.99 and what this does is boost the up higher in your news feed so more people will see it. This is an inexpensive way to advertise using Facebook and simple to implement. The second way that is discussed in this video mlm success training is doing pay per view, which is not a well-known way of paid advertising since a lot of people don't know about it. I have been doing this since the end of October and getting about twelve cents a click and sometimes even ten cents a click. It does require you to do a custom capture page for pay per view in order to use this kind of advertising. I am using leadimpact.com to set up advertising campaigns and you can fund an account for two hundred dollars. You can set up as many campaigns as you like but I just started with one to see how it would go and depending on your monthly budget you may just want to one but that is an individual decision. So in this video it does some mlm success training and discusses two different ways to do paid advertising cheaply. The first way is to promote a post on your profile page on Facebook and the second way is to do pay per view advertising using leadimpact.com so this are budget friendly for a lot of people.
