For example, when you do lead people to your Facebook profile you should lead them directly to fangate or landing page so they have to like your page to get some kind of incentive. This will cause them to hit the like button and enjoy the free gift you have available for them. You can do this through YouTube videos, emails, your website, blog posts, etc. The most important thing to to lead them to a fangate where they have to become your Facebook fan to get that incentive or move on to the next step. There are a lot of apps out there that will allow you to step up Facebook Fangates but the one I prefer is the static HTML iFrame Tab App because it is free. But, you can also use a paid one like the Short Stack app, which is an easy to use paid service/app. Once it is all set up all you need to do is promote that page. To promote that page you can use Facebook ads, YouTube videos, your blog posts, email your list, and anything else you can think of.
